About Me

Jacqueline

My name is Jacqueline Dean, but most of the time I just go by Jac.

Originally, I am from Georgia, but I moved to Texas last year and have been in love ever since. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising. After interning and working as an assistant buyer for a little less than a year, I knew it was not the career path for me and decided to take a sabbatical to fully immerse myself into the realm of programming. After self-teaching through countless videos or cirriculums, I decided to invest in the structure of a coding bootcamp and began the 12-week Full Stack Flex program through University of Texas in June.

When I'm not programming, I try to get away from the screen and get outside. My favorite things to do all involve the great outdoors. Whether it's going for a run, hiking, kayaking, or just having a picnic in the park, I am happiest when I'm getting fresh air in the sun.
